The Ombudsperson for Persons with Disabilities is an independent state institution whose purpose is to protect, monitor and promote the rights and interests of persons with disabilities.
His/her responsibility is to serve as a link between persons with disabilities, civil society and institutions which can systematically solve problems that trouble people with disabilities.
